Compensation
$11,248 – $14,920
Per year · Two weeks paid vacation · Ministry-related reimbursements
Primary Responsibilities
Spiritual Leadership & Teaching
- Teach the Word of God faithfully in weekly youth gatherings and Bible studies
- Develop biblically sound lesson plans aligned with the church’s doctrine
- Disciple students personally through mentorship and spiritual guidance
- Encourage youth involvement in evangelism, missions, and church service
- Clear testimony of salvation and a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Agreement with the doctrine and mission of First Baptist Church of Gordon
- Accredited Bible college or seminary training, or active enrollment
- Strong organizational skills, initiative, and a heart for discipleship
- Prior youth ministry experience preferred
Ministry Goals
Events Per Year
- 1 Youth camp
- 2 Fellowship / outreach events
- 1 Mission or service project
- Monthly Ignite gatherings
- Serves under the direct supervision of the Lead Pastor and the Personnel Committee
- Quarterly ministry reviews
- Annual evaluation of measurable goals
