My wife, Charity, and I were married on June 4th 2011. Our son, Curtis, was born on April 14th, 2016 and our daughter, Jenna, was born on June 20, 1018. My family is of utmost importance to me and are my first and primary ministry!
My first official (not as a layperson) ministry experience was during my senior year of college in 2007-2008 as an intern at Burning Bush Baptist Church in Ringgold, GA. After I finished college, I moved to North Carolina to pursue my Master's degree. During that program, I served as the student minister for West Oxford Baptist Church in Oxford, NC from 2008-2013. It was at West Oxford that I was licensed (2009) and ordained (2013). In 2013, God called me to move to Texas to pursue further schooling, and led me to serve at Patillo Baptist Church from 2013-2016. In September 2016, God called me here to First Baptist.

I am married with a beautiful and extremely amazing German scientist who is pursuing her PhD. in Cancer Research from Texas Tech University. She and I love serving the Lord together and we are always brainstorming new ideas to serve Him with the best of our abilities.
Since the age of 15 I have been involved in Missions in Brazil and many other countries around the world linguistically interpreting for missionaries and training church for evangelism. When I was 19 years old, I moved to the U.S. to study at Wayland Baptist University and while being a student I also started working as a Youth Director. After graduating from WBU, I moved to Fort Worth to pursue a Masters in Missiology. Because I fell in love with working with youth, I am now the Associate Pastor of Missions and Students of FBC Gordon and look forward to see what God will do with FBC Gordon and its community.

My wife, Nancy, and I have been married for 33 wonderful years! We have 4 grown children, 2 grandchildren, 7 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and a cow who considers herself to be a 600 pound lap dog.
Over the last 13 years, I have had the opportunity to serve by leading worship in 4 different churches, and served as a lay pastor at Palo Pinto County Cowboy Church for 3 years.
I enjoy playing guitar, riding horses, and fishing. However, my absolute favorite thing to do (honestly) is spending time with my beautiful bride!
