Children's Ministry

Our Children's Ministry uses the TeamKID curriculum from Lifeway Christian Books. "Team KID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. All parts of TeamKID--Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application, missions, and recreation--connect to teach life lessons to kids."*

The KID in TeamKID stands for Kids in Discipleship. Therefore, our goal in this program is to disciple children. We desire to seem them not only have a personal realationship with Jesus, but to grow closer to Him through learning about the Bible and how to apply it to everyday life.

During a typical TeamKID meeting many things are taking place. Not only are children encouraged to memorize Scripture, but those Scriptures are also explained so that they understand the verses they are memorizing. All parts of a TeamKID meeting focus on one Bible message. The games, Bible story, memory verse and conclusion all contribute to help children understand and apply God's Word to their lives.

TeamKID meets every Wednesday evening from 6:30pm-7:30pm in the church fellowship hall. A meal is served from 6:00pm-6:30pm, free of charge for all who are interested. Child pick up and drop off can be arranged, please call the church if your child is in need of a ride. The program runs from September through the end of March.
